The Burma Star Memorial and grassed car park area opposite the entrance to Deal Castle, Victoria Road, Walmer.
Just beyond is the entrance to the former Captain's Garden which Walmer Parish Council, Deal Town Council and English Heritage are currently negotiating to restore and redevelop as a quiet space for the enjoyment of local people and visitors to the Castle.
