Seafront "Fun Walk"
Close on 200 walkers took part in a 'Fun Walk' in aid of Cancer Research UK on Sunday, 2 September 2007. After completing the course from the Memorial Bandstand on Walmer Green to the Zetland Arms at Kingsdown and back, participants were rewarded with free tea and bacon rolls. Well over £1,000 was raised during the morning.
